Club Rules

A few simple rules:
1) Sexual harassment will not be tolerated. If this situation is to arise the Player should make their concerns known if this behavior continues this will result in immediate expulsion from the organization.

2) Any form of physical confrontation will not be tolerated. Failure to follow this rule will result in immediate expulsion from the organization.

3) The use of illegal substances will not be tolerated. Alcohol consumption will also not be tolerated. If a player arrives intoxicated he/she will be asked to leave.

4) A character being played, regardless of venue or Storyteller, must be created by the player. Meaning all skills, equipment, spells, advantages, purviews, abilities etc. Must have come from the player’s own imagination. Unless pregens are specified by the Storyteller.

5) Disrespect or Discrimination for another: Player, Race, Religion, Gender or Sexual Preference will not be tolerated. If this situation is to arise the Player should make their concerns known if this behavior continues this will result in immediate expulsion from the organization.

6) If a member misses a gaming session they will not be eligible for any rewards given in the course of that session (experience points, items, gifts ect.), excepting those given to them in game by another character at a later date.

7) A member may be nominated for expulsion from the organization for any of the following reasons:
*Repeatedly using offensive or confrontational language after being asked to stop.
*Repeatedly engaging in other disruptive activities while at the gaming table including but not limited to: checking e-mail, making phone calls, playing on facebook. We are here to game and so are you, if it is necessary to take a call, leave the table and return when you are finished.

8) All “In Game Rules Decisions” made by the Storyteller are final. After an ST has made a decision that is the end of it. Further argument can and will lead to the Player being asked to leave the game, and will result in the forfeit of all rewards for that evening as if the player had not be present for any part of the game.

All Decisions of the organization will be done by a simple majority vote.
Some decisions may be done with an anonymous ballot others will not.

Amendment 1:
If for the period of (1) Month there is no contact between a player and any member of the group i.e. the reasons for such disappearance are unknown, it will be assumed that you have quit the organization and therefore will be removed from the organization .

Amendment 2:
In order to take part in any voting/elections for the organization you must be a full member in good standing with all dues paid to current.

Amendment 3:
All new members will be subject to a probationary period of no less than 2 months, after this time the officers will determine if that person is to be granted fill Club Privileges including voting rights.

Dues: dues will be collected in the amount of $5 dollars once every 6 months, all expenditures of dues must be approved by the organization.
At the end of every session the “hat” will be passed you may chose to donate if you are able, being unable to donate will not be held against you.
All funds will be collected and counted by the Treasurer but held by the Lead Administrator until such a time as it is placed into an account.

Officers:
There will be at least four officer positions in the organization including but not limited to:

Lead Administrator
Vice-Administrator
Treasurer
Scribe

Lead Administrator:
The Lead Administrator will be chosen by a simple majority vote, a term will last for 12 months.
The duties of the Lead Administrator are as follows:

*Enforcement of all of the above rules and any that are added to this living document.
*Hosting via the Website and Facebook group as well as at Game votes for any and all reasons.
*Setting the schedule of events for the gaming calender.
*Maintaining the Website with current and up to date information on all current games.
*Host and plan at least monthly Officers meetings.

Vice-Administrator:
The Vice-Administrator will be chosen by a simple majority vote, a term will last 6 months.
The duties of the Vice-Administrator are as follows:
*Enforcement of all of the above rules and any that are added to this living document.
*Counting any and all votes that are done anonymous.
*Running “check-ups” on all Storytellers and their campaigns to ensure they are prepared to run, or to find out if they no longer wish to run/take a break from running said campaign.
*Enforcing any rules that are required on the Lead Administrator.
*Every three months there will be an audit of the Clubs account, to ensure that the funds available match the books.

Treasurer:
The Treasurer will be chosen by a simple majority vote, a term will last 6 months.
The duties of the Treasurer are as follows:
*Maintain a log of those who have/have not payed into the organizations account.
*Notify the Administration of those who have/have not payed into said account.
*Maintain the funds for the group.
NOTE this is as yet undetermined but will most likely be done in the form of an account with a credit union. Though we are not dealing with large sums of money initially it seems best if we go with an account that holds the best interest rates for us.
*Be responsible for the notation of any and all expenses that are accrued by the organization.

Scribe:
The Scribe will be chosen by a simple majority vote, a term will last 6 months. NOTE This position is available to any member including one that already holds another office.
The duties of the Scribe are as follows:

*Maintain records of any and all votes/email chains/events that occur at, before and after games.
*If possible maintain notes during game sessions to aid the Players and Storyteller of previous events. To maintain continuity.
*Maintain records of any and all Officers meetings making these records available upon request of any non-officer members.
*Maintain an accurate log of all current members of the Organization.
*Maintain archives on the Website. Made up of meeting minuets and notations during games.
